Kabuto yes kabuto. If we look at this logically we can find with more certainty and probability that it is kabuto.

1) its not going to be some random character we have seen before or a long since dead character

2 Last we saw kabuto was trapped in izanami and I'm sure the point of izanami is to correct the path of the one trapped in it. Kabuto will have changed and izanami does not keep you trapped forever its up to the person how long it takes and how stubborn they are. I think its the perfect time to reintroduce kabuto as a good guy.

3) Kabuto needs to be redeemed in some way as orochimaru is helping the good guys so why would kabuto not?

4) Kabuto is a master of medical ninjutsu it makes sense it would be him. He has also collected a lot of jutsu many forbidden so who better to save sasuke.

5) Lastly kabuto when we last saw him has no footwear just like we saw in the latest chapter and how many people have we seen during the war with no footwear thats right just kabuto, so no question that its him really.

Pretty possible. Kishi left serious room for Kabuto to redeem himself. It doesn't feel as random as when Orochimaru did it. I still think pedo snake is up to no good, only planting seeds to do some serious damage later.
