The Mysterious Peacock Method (孔雀妙法Kujaku Myōhō) is the signature ability of the shinobi of Hoshigakure. 200 Years a meteorite fell to the earth in the Land of Bears destroying a large chunk of the forest. The radiation from the meteorite possessed a unique chakra (Star Chakra) which augmented the chakra of those tap into its power. The shinobi of Hoshigakure developed their technique through as special training method that utilized the meteorite's chakra augmenting properties, resulting the Mysterious Peacock Method. The technique itself manifests in the form of a violet feather-shaped array behind the Hoshigakure ninja and spreading out from behind them like a peacock's tail feathers, hence the name. They use shape manipulation to make various versatile techniques. While the meteorite's properties make a shinobi's chakra far more formidable, those that take advantage of this power suffer from a considerable drawback. Because of the amount of radiation from the meteorite the user's physical body progressively suffers from prolonged exposure of the Star chakra techniques based on it. Even those who master the Star training and can wield their Star Chakra with incredible skill are are risk of an early grave.

- Because of their exposure to meteorite, the chakra of the shinobi is stronger than that of ordinary shinobi. As a result, all of their chakra based techniques gain a violet color and a notable increase in damage, gaining a passive +20 damage.
- Star Chakra is the signature ability of the shinobi from Hoshigakure and is a potent and destructive chakra neutral to all techniques with the exception of Bijuu Chakra, which has a unique interaction that counteracts Star Chakra. The absorption method of Dark Release is also effective against it.[/COLOR]
- As well, because of the large amounts of radiation from the star training, whenever a Hoshi shinobi utilizes the Star Chakra, they steadily become weaker and even more so when they use the Mysterious Peacock Method which deteriorates their body and ability to use high ranking techniques the longer it is active.
- Mysterious Peacock Method users gain an increase of +1 Bonus MIND AP unless they are using Dual Abilities, in which case the ability with the highest AP boosts will apply.
