Far fetched, but im thinking Danzo isn't dead. This man cant possibly be the return of madara or orochimaru for that matter (though that's possible). My finger's on return of Danzo OR Orochimaru brewing something.

idk man i think hes gone, hes already got that nice flashback of him and hurizen playing in konoha plus the amazing
"you are the leaves and i am the roots" quote. then he decided to completely destroy his frkin body by that black orb.
the dudes already lived his life, but i am with u on the orochimaru

neither of the 2 its a new character or some shocker old one we weren't expecting. orochimaru is done with the big evil stuff guys. naruto and sasuke even know where he is that so out of character for orochimaru. they are just gonna go see him and he'll tell them he's got nothing to do with it and tell them he's heard of some underworld activity and toss them a clue and they'll leave wondering who it could be.

The reason why i think of that is because, who else valued Itachi(evne for selfish reasons) that much other than shisui/Danzo? Danzo wanted itachi's eyes as well. He wanted Sasuke's eye and hated him because he got in the way of things. Im 50/50 on this though.

Danzo is dead. He used up all his izanagi so he's nomore but I do think oro has something to do with all of this.

Everybody forgets Kabuto , Kabuto is what he is because of Itachi's TNJ by izanami , Kabuto has the akatsuki cloak , Kabuto was saved by Itachi.

All what the new Kabuto has now is due to Itachi's forgiveness.

You may be on to sometihng, but its still highly unlikely. Its either Danzo or or some sort of remnant of past evil.
