My weird Phobia

Ok so u may think im crazy but im sharing my phobia and how it started
Just wanna see if someone else have this phobia and their views about it

My phobia...

Is the PlayStation 1 Intro(the PS1 logo nd the music)

It all began when i was a kid
Around 5-6 years

When im alone in my room
And when its night time
I hear the intro it was kinda creepy to me so i always put the volume on mute everytime i play a game
This is just the starting

So one day a friend of mine brought a PS2 Cd box(i think it was Toca race driver)and boasted tht he got a PS2
Then i got an idea
So i decided to borrow the disc to see if it works on the PS1(yes a dumb thing to do but i was young)
My friend was cool about it and let me borrow it
So he went to eat leaving me to test it

And holy shit il never forget tht day

The intro came
The Sony logo came with the creepy tone and then it took a little long to switch to the PS logo screen
Then it switched.....A BLACK SCREEN with a creepy MESSED up music which is the one u hear when u see the PS1 logo screen tone..but it was just MESSED UP
The music was SLOW,kinda like it was corrupted


I JUST FROZE

I was scared to even move
I just switched off the TV and i ran out lol
Told my friend to come and we tried it again
I never get scared with someone else so
We tried again
Same result
Well until the 3rd time

WELL THE PS1 LOGO WAS MISSING but all the texts was there and the messed up tone again

^After this day i started to get nightmares of the ps1 logo and the music

Currently i cant sleep or stay in a room ALONE without keeping the TV on
I usually imagine the music and the PS1 logo appearing on a black screen if im alone
And so its still my Phobia
Cant get rid of it :/

Apparently this happend because the PS1 doesnt have an error screen or the code needed to identify the error
I heard there are utube vids abt this too

Lmaoooo I know exactly what u mean. I had a similar phobia as a kid.


Back when NBA Jam first came out for SNES, me and my bro would share the game because we only had one controller. Then one day my mom bought a 2nd controller but it was a 3rd party controller and not an official one.

For some reason the game would acknowledged this and when it did, a dark blue screen with the nba jam logo scrolling in the background would pop up with white text saying "we've detected that you are using a false product." It went on to explain what would be the consequences for trying to use false products on the system.

This screen was very random and most times we were able to get to the game without seeing it, but every so often it would pop up sometimes during the middle of a session.

Nyctophobia, I get scared if it gets just a bit dark.

I guess it's mostly because I ALWAYS am seeing shit that isn't there, especially in the dark.
