Obito walks into the training field, awaiting his trainer. He is wearing his flame mask and has his Sharingan active. He takes off his hood as his instructor approaches.*

And yeah, it's activation.
OK. The Sharingan is one of the three great Dojutsu. It is unique to the Uchiha clan.
The Sharingan is achieved through an intense burst of emotional and physical stress on the user, usually at a moment of near death or great anger.
The Sharingan has six stages. The first three are basic, and are available to everyone. The first three stages are identified by the number of tomoe in their eye. The first stage is identified by one tomoe, the second by two, and the third by three.
Each stage gives the user a higher form of perception and ability. Upon achieving the third tomoe, the user gains the abilities to track movement at a high level(with things appearing to move in slow motion), the ability to copy movements and jutsu, and the ability to place high level Genjutsu on others.
The fourth stage is the Mangekyo Sharingan. Unlike the first three stages, the Mangekyo is extremely rare. It is achieved by truly feeling the loss of the one closest to you. The fifth is the Eternal Mangekyo, which is achieved by implanting the eyes of a close family member. This is done to counter the side effect of the Mangekyo's power, utter blindness.
The sixth is the Rinnegan. This is the rarest of all, and can only be achieved by the culmination of Uchiha and Senju DNA.
You find a rabbit in the bushes doing his business....... Try again and look to the east.Seems doable.
*As you vanish, I keep my Sharingan active. I look around the terrain, looking for movement, even the subtlest. He monitors the movement of the leaves, of the water. He looks for rustling bushes, for ripples in the water. Quickly, he notices a tiny ripple in the water. He walks over to the water, looking for any trace of chakra. Not seeing any, he looks towards the bushes. He sees a glimmer of heat and chakra through the bushes. He quickly jumps over to the bushes, sure you are there.*
"Damn...a mere rabbit..."You find a rabbit in the bushes doing his business....... Try again and look to the east.
You won't be able to see me through the forrest of any kind. It would be too dense. THe bushes thing.. i could make teh same arguement."Damn...a mere rabbit..."
*Tobi walks away from the rabbit, looking back towards the water. Seeing no traces of heat, movement or chakra he turns to his left. He sees slight movement in the trees, but no signs of chakra or heat. He then turns to his right, and picks up a trace of heat and chakra.*
"To the east, eh?"
*Tobi runs over towards the direction he picks up the signals from, towards a cluster of bushes.*
"He's got to be over here."
Just wanted to make sure you knew that or else it would be misusing the sharingan. It is true that you can see chakra, can see heat, but even with full three tomoe sharingan you can't see through objects like the byakugan can. You can see through a little bit of non dense object, forexample if someone used a hiding like a mole technique and for whatever reason you were looking at the ground, if the opponent was shallow to the ground near the surface you could see him. Deeper he goes you lose him. Got it?Ah, ok.
*As Tobi gets near the bushes, he realizes he was mistaken and can't see through the bushes as well as he thought. He looks around and through an opening in the bushes, spots some subtle movement. Tobi moves slightly closer and looks through. He sees a glimmer of heat and chakra through the opening.*
Gotcha.
It really depends on how dense the bushes are... but in our rp, where u gonna find someone hiding in a bush??? xdI understand. I actually knew that the Sharingan can't see through dense objects like trees and wood, I thought bushes would be exempt since they aren't as dense.
This is wrong.*As you make the fake handseal and raise your hands, Tobi uses his Sharingan to monitor your movement and chakra. Not recognizing the handseal due to it being fake, Tobi puts himself on guard. Looking at your chakra, he sees a faint glimmer of it comes towards him, which instigates the Genjutsu. Wondering why nothing has happened, he looks around. He looks up and sees the giant ball of fire descending towards him. He raises his hands in front of him to form handseals to counter when he notices the chakra flow in his arms is disturbed. He looks along the rest of his arms and body and sees that his entire chakra flow is disturbed.*
"Genjutsu? Oh! So that's what that chakra was, and why I didn't recognize the seal!"
*Tobi then looks towards you. He squints his eyes and knowing that it's just an illusion, he tries to use his Sharingan to pierce through it.*
How would you peirce through the genjutsu with your eyes?Oh, alright.
*As you form the dud handseal and raise your hand, Tobi switches to defensive measures. Using his Sharingan, he can see your chakra drop slightly. Unbeknownest to Tobi, this is because you have placed him in a Genjutsu. Thinking you've performed a Ninjutsu, he looks up to the sky. He does this because you raised your hand towards the sky. Looking up, he's the fake fireball forming and beginning to descend. He raises his hands in front of him to form seals to create a counter Ninjutsu when he notices the chakra flow in his hands is disturbed. He looks along with the rest of his body and sees that it's the same through and through. Realizing that he's in a Genjutsu, he focuses chakra in his Sharingan and attempts to pierce through the Genjutsu.*
