My view of izamai

I think Izamai is a curse that put on the oponent.If the oponent attack the user then he will experience his damage instead.Well it need an direct attack from the oponent on the user

What u think?

well since itachi said izanagi alters fate and izanami decides it, you could guess it is a curse.
izanagi would give danzo "retries" by basically overwriting fate, izanagi gave him the ability to try again as if the attack had failed or something like that. if this is altering, one could only assume deciding fate is something that complements this (itachi said they from a pair).
so by complementing it would get rid of the izanagis weaknesses if used together, which i dont know if possible(specially since izanami take your light forever and izanagi doesnt), therefore you would have to identify izanagis flaws and izanami would probably be that which completes the pair and takes this technique to its full power. also you must keep in mind danzo had an incomplete form of izanagi to my understanding, i think he or someone else mentions it, so his one izanagi was either weaker or had more flaws, or both.
