Far enough, the only reason why I simpathize with the concept of Madara being on top is because the black rods and Hashirama cells that Madara implanted in him was what gave both of them the Yin yang release, mokuton, and six path justus without the juubi and rinnegan.

Though the use of Kamui just shuts puts Madara's unkown ms abilities to shame
