No... This movie unlike the others is cannon and connected to the manga. Then why reveal Sasuke's Rinnegan? He doesn't appear in the anime yet with it. In Japan almost everybody reads the manga, so it's not a big spoil and there are the internet videos and images too...
You don't have to know the anime nor the manga because it's a romantic movie.

Women in distress -> main character go save that girl -> Marries or stay with the girl.

If i bring a person who has never watched nor read naruto, he wouldn't know what is a rinnegan. Kishimoto stated you don't need to read nor watch naruto to know what's going to happen in the movie.

Nice review. Im assuming the movie was not dubbed.
It was in subbed. If it was dubbed, I would've refused to watch it.

Thanks for the review man. Much appreciated.
No worries man.

wowowowow....thanks for spoiling us silver...Lol
Sorry...but there was a notice of spoilers at the top of the post...

Quick questions.

A. Does Naruto have some leftover/special powers? I mean, I saw a clip where Naruto reached inside of Hinata to drag out a chakra sphere, and then he used the same arm to block Toneri's attack. Does he have any special abilities in the movie outside of BSM?

B. Did Hinata get a more powerful chakra? It looked to me in the clips that she did. (recharging Naruto, somehow being able to transfer chakra, which requires a jutsu normally)

C. Other than his standard TSB spam and moon-cutting blade, what are Toneri's abilities? I saw some gravity control, what's the extent?
I'm really not sure, I didn't pay much attention to that stuff where he pulled Toneri's orb from Hinata. It's possible that she may be something of a reincarnation, though I'm not sure.

Nice work on your review.

I just wanted to point a flaw in your review.

One thing, RSM was not taken.

First, can you prove that it was taken away? No.
Can you prove that he has it too? No.

Saying that Toneri took Naruto's chakra away twice in the movie, means nothing when the first time he did it, he lost his chakra. The second time it definitely looked like he lost Kurama's chakra.

Secondly. Naruto = Sasuke. Understanding Kishimoto's logic, you are purposely saying he would nerf the main character, which doesn't make sense to rebuttal those thoughts.

I can personally prove these with hard points if you want me to. I just wanted to clear these things up
I cannot prove either of those things, however, I have my reasons why I doubt he still has it for the duration of The Last. The first one is, why would he just use Bijuu Sage Mode if he had Rikudo Sage Mode? That doesn't make sense. His opponent was capable of halving the moon in just a moment. I doubt Naruto would've been reluctant to use his full power against someone who could actually beat him really badly and kill him if he made the slightest mistake. Secondly, his chakra was indeed sapped, lots of it was taken the first time, and as you said another chunk of it along with some of Kurama's chakra from when Naruto had Bijuu mode activated. As far as my knowledge goes, you need the mixed chakra of the 9 Bijuu plus the chakra from Hagoromo to activate Rikudo Mode. To acquire Rikudo Sage Mode, you just need to add Frog Sage Mode. As I said, my hunch is that the Bijuu's chakra, with the exception of Kurama's, was taken when Toneri first sapped Naruto's chakra. The second time he sapped Naruto's chakra, he took some of Kurama's. How can you activate a mode that requires union of the 9 Bijuu's chakra when you only have 1 Bijuu?

Temporarily, albeit. If my hunch is correct, by the end of the movie, Toneri returned Naruto's chakra to him.

Prove it, if you can.

In the manga narutos chakra is yellow colored, and as such his rasengan is yellow colored.
In the manga narutos rasenshuriken is blue colored due to the fuuton chakra.

So I dont know how the movie portrayed the colors, but this could be a explanation for the chakra colors in the movie.

The anime makers of naruto decided to ignore the manga which has every ninja having a unique color of chakra. The anime chose to just make all chakra a generic blue.

Nice review.
In the movie, the Rasengan changed colour between Orange and Blue at least once. His Rasenshuriken was consistently Orange I think. His other Rasengan variations were consistently Orange as well. I think it was just the Rasengan.

General thoughts on Toneri? Was he a good villain or did he disappoint?
I thought he was a decent villain until the end, because he was TNJ'd. At best, he was an alright villain.

Thanks for the unbiased review of the movie SA. I know many people have written off the movie before they've actually had a chance to see it.

First I would like to say, if I rub off the wrong way please forgive me. I get into these debates really horribly. Though I do not wish to cause ill feelings ~

You have no proof to your claims of it disappearing, so no. Naruto obviously has RSM and his Rikudou Chakra, just as Sasuke has his Sharringan and his Rikudou Chakra. Firstly nothing proves that Naruto needs the power of all nine tailed beasts to use RSM. It does not state this in the manga, nor does it state this in the databooks. Only the WIKI says this, and I have recently talked to their moderators and they have no proof to their claims. Read this please:

Next you act as if the absorbing of chakra was explained to be more than Naruto/Kurama's. It was not. Therefore Naruto not using RIkudou chakra in the movie equals to him losing the power when they never even showcased that? Do you realize how stupid that sounds, right? Of course substantially the amount of required knowledge for such actions does not justifty the incorrect means of idealism towards Kishimoto's work. Understand? StudioP made this movie, not Kishimoto. Manga > Movie. I don't know how to put this into the minds of the easily seduced.

To end this argument. Kishimoto has never stated Naruto lost RSM, so where do you pull this out? Kishimoto has never stated that RSM form requires all nine tailed beasts to form, merely Naruto can use their powers. I already proved that in the thread link above.

Kishimoto has stated Naruto and Sasuke will always be equal. How does BM = Sharringan?
It doesn't.

Could you imagine Kishimoto stating to SP to nerf the MC? It doesn't sound plausible. Be true to yourself, and the work he has given us. There you can find the answer. Not some half-assed written plot for the final "Naruto K11" movie.

Well, none of your points are deniable. I'd be inclined to agree with you here.

Yeah you have a point there. But still it's weird...
