Where did Askin's powers go? He's still immune to Urahara's reiatsu, so right away, the Bankai should do nothing to him.
Second, the Gift Ball Deluxe? Why doesn't it do anything? Grimmjow was taken down by an ordinary gift ball, and can somehow stand inside a massive one? And why is Urahara not affected by it? Even if he used the same drug as he gave to Yoruichi, it should have worn off by now.
Next, Urahara's Bankai. It's a cool concept, but I don't see how it's supposed to help him in the fight? It splits stuff apart and then stitches them back together. How does that help? Actually, let me answer my own question there, because Urahara hasn't. In theory, he should be able to reconstruct his own reiatsu entirely to bypass askins immunity. But nothing even close to that was mentioned, and we are left with Urahara magically deleting Askins abilities.
Now, the final blow on Askin. First off, already made my thoughts clear on whether Askin is down in another thread. He's not. Second, How did Grimmjow get there? Urahara's Bankai was supposed to have a limited range, how was he able to reach Grimmjow. Third, why wasn't Grimmjow affected by the Gift Ball? And fourth, How did Urahara know Grimmjow was out there? More specifically, how was he able to locate him specifically to let him into the Gift Ball.
Finally, this seems too easy. The other Elite fights were much harder on the good guys, rather than just going down in one chapter of ownage. More specifically, Urahra had the upper hand for the entire chapter, while Mayuri and Nanao only gained the upper hand at the end of the chapter when the defeated Pernida/Lille.
At least Urahra's Bankai wasn't just a magical paddle that kills anyone who uses poison. Looking at you, Nanao.
