I want to point out that I basically have no evidence (yet) that this theory is the case, but it's just what I think.
That hagoromo is actually the Uchiha and sarutobi ancestor. (Not 100% sure of this, but Sarutobi seems more likely because 1, I don't think he is the descendant of uzumaki at all. but 2, because hagoromo looks like the third, even as far back as young hiruzen)
That hamura is actually the senju and hyuuga ancestor. I think that the staff he holds with a 'bird' on the top is actually the senju symbol.
I think Hamura dies in the battle with kaguya. Which is why hagoromo misses out that detail when telling the history of him and kaguya, because he didn't want to scare either of them off knowing that one of them might die to seal her.
Indra is hagoromo's son, no news here.
Ashura is hamura's son who hagoromo looked after, once hamura had died sealing kaguya.
That Indra is sarutobi(maybe) and uchiha. As well.
That ashura is hyuga and senju. As well. Since that's what their dads were :/
And the reason that naruto is even a descendant is not by the uzumaki line being directly connected to hagoromo, but through the indirect line through senju most likely.
But I think it could be 2 possibilities, he is related to the first's or second's daughter marrying into the namikaze name(not uzumaki because I couldn't think of a scenario to connect them without inbreeding, but if you can think of a way to connect them, please post how!) since it's not stated if they had children but we know the first has grand children. But I think it could be the second because of the way that both minato and naruto picked up the tobirama's techniques.
While sasuke is uchiha, no real news. Yet.
So there it is! All out in the open! What do you think? Is it as good/bad as tobidara?
