This is the direction I think the manga will take. Right now, Infinite Tsukyomi is about to begin. I think what will happen is that Naruto and Sasuke's power will enable them to be unaffected by it, but everyone else will fall under infinite tsukyomi, and their chakra will begin to form the next chakra fruit.
Naruto and Sasuke VS Madara
Everyone VS Kaguya
Naruto VS Sasuke
Then, the chakra fruit will go completely into Naruto, making him pretty much the supreme deity of the Naruto verse. He will be equal to or stronger than Kaguya.
However, like Kaguya, the power to do anything he wants will confuse him into thinking he should do anything he wants. The end result, Naruto will turn on the world.
However, this is the reason why Hagoromo let Sasuke have his power after hearing his answer. There's some sort of connection between him and Naruto now.
Sasuke will be able to link himself, and every shinobi to Naruto in order to snap him back to reality. Many people he's influenced in some way will influence him back into his normal self including Sasuke, Kakashi, Garra, Hinata, Sakura, Shikimaru, Tsunade, and Ohnoiki.
Naruto will come to his senses, and make that choice.
Either keep the power and....
Or spread it throughout the world.......

Naruto will become hokage, have assistance (Sasuke and Shikimaru are pretty much confirmed, and I can't see Hinata not being one with all the "being by his side" and maybe Sakura.)
This is my prediction. Oh, and Naruto and Hinata will get married (insert pairing war here). Just kidding about predicting the pairing, but seriously, do not turn this thread into a flame war or else I'll personally neg you.

Naruto and Sasuke will fight a loosing battle against Madara, but as they do, their power will develop further. Sasuke will get a rinnegan in his right eye in order to gain the full power of the rinnegan, and Naruto will gain Hagoromo's holy sword.
Now some think it's weak, but I believe it could live up to its hype. Obito's broke because he doubted himself. It's a sword of the soul and Hagoromo's powerful feelings are inside of it. I believe Naruto might be the only one who could use this sword to its full potential.
When Naruto and Sasuke fully gain the power of their halves of Hagoromo's power, they will defeat Madara just as the chakra fruit is formed.

I believe, that once this happens, Kaguya will resurrect herself. The chakra fruit can give her phsyical form like bijus can. And her will exists within Madara, so it's quite likely she'll resurrect herself with the fruit.
When this happens, Kaguya will demonstrate her power and easily overwhelm Naruto and Sasuke even when they combine their power. However, They'll break infinite tsukyomi and rescue the rest of the alliance. At this point in time, they'd loose their chakra and abilities. But, Naruto will begin transferring his senjutsu chakra to the alliance yet again while Sasuke provides cover for Naruto when he's weakened from doing so and is recovering.
After all the chakra is transferred and Naruto has recovered, everyone will join forces to beat Kaguya. It's essentially the power to bind everyone's power (Kaguya's fruit and infinite tsukyomi) VS The power of everyone working together.
We've already seen similar effects on what will happen.
However, I'm assuming that we're also going to see some foreshadowed jutsus we never saw. For instance, Tobirama can send his soul to someone and probably reainimate them. Plus, he also probably has multiple edo tensei jutsus he has not shown yet.
He may use this on Minato to heal him or bring him to life completely so that he can use his jutsu which he thought would be enough to make an opening against a juubi jin which he's experienced the power of first hand.
We've also never seen gentle step: twin lion fists on-panel, so it might be revealed at that point as well.
And then there's Ten Ten and the infamous moment of Madara's.
Tenten might seal Kaguya's will at the end.
We're going to see a ton of teamwork when Kaguya enters the fight. Like it or not, whether it happens in the Madara fight, or with Kaguya, this will happen.
Once the fight is over, Kaguya's chakra fruit will split itself between Naruto and Sasuke, either that, or it will be separated, and their will be a conflict over it.. During the fight or after, it will be revealed that Kaguya was a good-natured person who simply got sick of seeing people kill each other and got frustrated when her attempts at making world peace just made more chaos.

However, Sasuke will be revealed to have dark intentions. He has no interest in infinite tsukyomi but will want to destroy the current system and want to make his own world where he has control. Don't lie to yourself, this has been hinted at multiple times these past arcs, and this fits perfectly with the prophecy that Naruto will fight a young man with powerful eyes.
No intention of having people accept him. He intends to dominate.
He flat-out wants to conquer the world and destroy what is and replace it with whatever he desires.
Clearly wants to kill Naruto for whatever reason. Perhaps for his obsession that loneliness=power (more on that later)

Therefore, he will not utilize the wills of other like Naruto does, and ultimately, the power of cooperation will succeed, and Naruto will beat Sasuke and change the fate of them dying. Sasuke will realize that Naruto was right, and gives up on his twisted dream and realizes he was wrong.
