didnt want to make my own thread, but ill throw in my theory:

Izanama does some crazy stuff and dispels all the edo, so the kage head to naruto to help against tobi. some how, itachi has a timer on his edo, so even after they kill kabuto, itachi lives for a while and talks sasuke out of the darkness. he rushes to naruto, bawling his eyes out. naruto and tobi fight, and naruto is backed into a corner. Tobi is about to grab him, and sasuke either uses his susano'o, chidori sharp spear, or just throws his sword and hits tobi in the arm. big battle, they win. naruto does the whole wandering sage thing and is never seen. tsunade retires, kakashi is hokage, then sasuke. the end.

Why, would they want Sasuke to be the Hokage? Better than mine though.

sorry to burst your bubble but... although sasuke may awaken rinnegan and still not be able to defeat naruto, sakura has already accepted that sasuke is too far beyond reach (which is why she tried to trick naruto into giving up his pursuit of Sasuke so she could kill him instead)
she wont get in the way of the fight no matter how strongly she feels,

secondly Sasuke still has his dark side, irrelevant of Itachi (who btw - after they defeat Kabuto (which will happen in manga soon) - Kabuto will release the edo tensei and all of the zombies will end up being destroyed - including Itachi - therefore Itachi can no longer be involved in the plotline other than to guilt Sasuke)

Sasuke, no matter what in my opinion, will still fight naruto, in the original series sasuke severed the bond to become stronger and fight itachi, after he defeated itachi he found out what the Leaf elders did (atleast what tobi told him) and wanted revenge on the leaf.
now hopefully due to the conversation that itachi and sasuke had (hopefully!!!) within tsukuyomi sasuke will releive his hate from the leaf...leaving it all for naruto whos bond they severed all along

We don't know what Izinami does. It could keep him alive.

Thats getting into another issue all together, but i believe that since izanagi was a jutus that removed the boundary between reality and illusion in -Space- then izanami might be in -Time-
