It's because Hashirama possesed HUGE lifeforce, so just a bit of his DNA can make living things. Though it doesn't have mind of its own, as stated by Tobi.

What nonsense is that ? Tobi has Zetsu not Hashirama body.. Plus hashirama died after the fight with Madara, he took perment demage, that weakened him, and soon he died... Something like that was said

That's probably from the fight of Madara, after he took back control of him and defeated Madara he did that, and probably after that scene Mito sealed it inside her. But you can't say anything now, all I can say is wait and see, you can say whatever way he died but Kishi can always supprise us.
