My rep power decreased. :|

Ok, so first my rep power was 2 (I know it's pretty low) and now it's 1....
Straight to the question, why is it one? :|

I did get -repped for a joke about Madara a few days back, so is that the problem?

Your rep power grows in proportion to how much +rep and how many pots you have.

It use to be 1000 Rep = 1 more Rep power or 1000 Posts = 1 More Rep Power. The Posts has changed to 2000, meaning every 2 points you had for posts become 1.

At the moment you have 1814 posts, when you reach 2000 it'll reach a Rep power of 2 again.

Some changes are made in the rep system today seeing the complaints:

Now the rep power will increase at 2000 per post rather than 1000. So all of you will see a decrease in your total rep power as well as negative rep power from now on.

Also there is a cap on maximum rep power set at 50. So other than admins no one can have a rep power higher than that. That will also limit the negative rep power.

This change was made seeing the repping games and rep abuse cases recently. Other than that you can report in case of genuine rep abuse.

When reporting, please remember that just like people can give you positive rep they are allowed to neg rep if they don't find your post up to the mark. However if it is being used to troll, harass or other malicious intentions and your post was genuine one then (only then) it may be classed as rep abuse.

The new rule is that 2,000 posts = 1 more rep power. You have 1,090.

Its basically you use to get more rep power for every 1000 posts, its been changed to 2000 posts meaning you get half the amount you use to get for the posts you have.

You get 1 starting rep, everyone has that, for every 1000 rep points you get 1 extra rep point, for every 2000 posts you get one rep point.
I have 7 at the moment, 4000 post= 2 points, 1 start makes 3, 1 for being a year on NB, whcih makes 4 and I got 3000 rep, which makes 7 in total.
