[Technical Issue] my profile background

im entering the profile contest and I am trying to customize the background on my profile where you copy n paste the url etc..... but everytime I save It and refresh the page it goes back to the default setting what do I do???

It must be a problem with the image url. Go to the image url, download the image, and then upload it to Imgur or Tinypic. Once done, then copy the image address from there and paste it. It'll work. Try it.

You cannot hide your own profile so it doesn't matter. If you save it will give you a message that it's been updated and the results should be visible. Hide customization only hides customization of other people. So your settings in that regard should not be a problem here.
