My personal opinion on why Sakura is such a square.

Thanks. It's really bugging me how everyone at the same time suddenly saw this thread and decided to become a Sakura fan after years/months of hate.

The manga was made to invoke emotions and opinions towards characters, and I can voice my opinion as much as I want.

I just dont like her obsession with sasuke, i mean it was cool in part 1 when sasuke was a loner and she was trying to give him a reason to stay in konoha then skip ahead and shes tryin to tell naruto she loves him all of a sudden like wtf and then tries to kill sasuke herself which was all ****in dumb.

Well, Grayparadise did set out a good some up from Sakura, but it's a bit too negative. Like her story, I have to agree on that one. It's lame, and why she still likes Sasuke is stupid. But what's wrong with her superhuman strength. As far as I know she has EVERY feature as Tsunade: medical skills, kuchiyose no juts, superhuman strengt AND her own seal on her forehead. Plus she's always been said to be a genjutsu type user shinobi. Although she hasn't done anything with it (and that's kinda sad ) it's still something that adds up.
Also, her fight with Sasori WAS a major fight. I don't know why you don't count it as one, so I'd like it if you would give me some reasons for that.
And aside from her anger drifts, she's also the most clever one. Remember when Sai got introduced? She was the only one who first tried to make contact with him. Even Yamato stated that. People can also rely on her. She's a dependable character in Naruto.

Not exactly that there's anything wrong with it... just that's it's so distant and odd when set next to Naruto and Sasuke's.
Naruto uses the power of Kurama to greatly increase his speed, rivaling Minato and surpassing Aye's, and calls upon the power of Nature to heighten his senses and grant him the exact same power that Sakura has, but on a different scale, Sage Mode.
Sasuke gains all his abilities through either fallen comrades or something, and is developed through emotion, hate and pain, and his powers reflect it. He has powerful katon abilities, which burn and destroy like his mindset, one of the most (if not the most) thunder tech, and has a power derived from simple hate, Susanoo.
Sakura stored chakra in her seal for 3 years and got super strength. I really don't enjoy putting her down as much as I enjoy stating out problems, but that's just so odd... and then Naruto and Sasuke have a huge range of powers, and both have displayed feats of speed to some extent. Sakura has no known speed feats, and has 2 powers. Healing and super strength.

Which is another thing people don't like. Naruto and Sasuke carved their own path and have made a distinct character for themselves set apart from their teachers.

I guess that's just a case of perspective. I can see why you would consider it one. I guess another major fight she was involved in was the one in the Chunin exams, but when it comes down to it, she's never fought anybody very memorable 1 on 1.

Wow I'm suprised that sakura fans like FemmeFatale, Fanta, and Miiami didn't show up to argue against this.. although I agree with the majority of your post we should blame Kishi for how he poorly developed sakura.. Its sad I use to like her a lot but Kishi wasted her potential and is now trying to make it up with these seemingly sudden power ups.

I've never liked Sakura. I was really excited and happy for her during the first arc of Part 2, but then she went back to being regular Sakura. For instance, if you think about it, her attempt to kill Sasuke actually saved his life. When Kakashi and Sasuke were fighting, Sasuke had almost completely lost his eyesight. If Sakura hadn't intervened, Kakashi would have been able to kill him. Just another example of Sakura's uselessness. :eww:
