My only problem with Kaguya is...

Her introduction. I just wished Kishi foreshadowed her in the Five Kage arc and then build her up when Naruto met Hagomoro.

Oh well there is no such thing as "perfection". As perfection is inhuman, because humanity is imperfect. That's why I don't indulge too much in counterfactual thinking and just take it easy and enjoy the manga.

Actually, after she was introduced last year, there were in fact some people theorizing her as the final villain. Obviously, there weren't many of them, as it was a pretty vague guess back then. But it wasn't impossible.

I actually did not think of her like that until she urged Madara to absorb the Shinju, since that was the time we got confirmation that she is indeed interfering with the current manga timeline and is not just some fairytale.

I think one of the main reasons not that many people were thinking of her as a possible final villain from the get go is her being female. After the first chapter of Hagoromo telling his story, i saw quite a few threads about Hamura being the main villain, despite him being unnamed and present in one single panel with only his back shown. I didn't see threads about Kaguya being behind everything, although she was featured prominently in that chapter. I'm pretty sure her gender was a huge factor in people not seeing her as a villain.
