Atleast he did not say Sasuke his only friend.

I don't get why Sasuke is at highest pedestal for Naruto. I would remotely understand if he could actually reason with Sasuke and his ideals; or even understand him by bit but he blatantly disagrees (hence the current battle occurs). He, the similar way Sakura does, clings on to a vauge memory of Sasuke who barely existed or not. Sure Sasuke said Naruto is closest thing to a best friend:

But lets be real Sasuke's deeper interaction with others were just his time with team 7 thus Naruto. It is not like he had many people around him who have been actual friends with him. (His case is not perfect either but atleast seems more reasonable)

Naruto on the other hand has many friends who are willing to do many things for him, and/or the ones who experienced pain like him. I am not saying he should not give a phuck but Sasuke being his "one above and and all" is kind of odd. Showing some childhood flashbacks which they gawk at each other is not proving or deepening it.

Translations might be slightly differing as usual, bu this was not a thing special to today's manga. It is just yet another example.

Well back when they were kids Sasuke had his back and gave him a large amount of the motivation that made him who he is today. Also ego and ideology play a role. Ex. If Naruto can't make peace with Sasuke how can he make peace with the world

It would've been better for Naruto to quit obsessing over him all of part 2. They should've made Naruto get over Sasuke so they could have an actual battle with the intent to kill at the end of the manga instead of this stupid ending

Honestly...what bond? They had a rivalry, sure. Sasuke was willing to lay his life down for Naruto against Haku, cool, but that's what comrades do even if they're NOT "best friends". We never really saw much of their true friendship - there were no real bonding moments for them. If you ask me, Shikamaru is more of a friend to Naruto than Sasuke ever was. They both experienced the loss of their sensei, Shikamaru always helped Naruto in some of his worse spots. We really got to see their bond expanded more than with Sasuke...but whatever.

Yeah I think it's more of Naruto has no idea how to be a good friend. Everybody in the Kohona 11 have put their lives on the line for him multiple times and Sasuke only has once. He is so obsessed with Sasuke that he can't even tell when he has actual bonds with people. I personally think Naruto is a jerk at this point and doesn't care about anybody but Sasuke

Honestly, I don't even know why Naruto would want to bring him back. They were friends (and by friends, I'm really stretching it) in like the first 100 chapters. They were not even truly friends, more like comrades, as one guy here said. After that Sasuke betrays Naruto and the Konoha village and goes on a murdering rampage everywhere. He even tries to kill Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi, and yet... Naruto still considers him a friend. This is weird on so many levels, I don't... The only logical explanation is that Naruto is gay and he loves Sasuke not as a friend, but romantically.

It's complete b*llshit and forces a bond that was never really there. The only thing these two have in common is that they lost their parents early on, and that's it. Gaara and Naruto have a way more stronger bond than Naruto and Sasuke.

Thanks you. This is very nice coming from a Naruto fan (judging by your sig and avy), instead of blindly "defending" you are acknowledging the negatives. Nice to see some sanity in base.

For me, if i had same life as naruto ( lonely & hated by every one ) and then having some one who would gave up his dream, his goal, his revenge and his life just to save me, i will definitely regardless of time consider him as my best friend, dósent matter what he had done.
