You know what I was thinking about putting him on that list but, I didn't want nukers on the list he is powerful and a talented ninja, but does he only seem smart because he has so much chakra and a wood release?

He learnt how to seal the jubi from the uzumakis who were a sealing clan, it was really his brother tobimaru who founded the police force, the anbu and really settled the village down after the peace treaty.

It was his daughter who formed the healing nin division that konoha knows today, hashirama was charismatic, maybe that is a kind of genius but I think his brother deserves to be up there more than him.

I agree. Tobirama was also a very highly skilled ninja and second hokage. He invented IWR technique and known as the greatest water style user in ninja world. He is also a genius. But Hashirama also deserves to be in genius list not just because of powers but also the brain and skills.

He and madara were the first to achieve the mangekyo sharingan, they are the reason why the uchiha clan is not fodder right now, please Lord give hyuga something like that.

for one, Madara and izuna , neither were stated to be geniuses....They were strong, but a statement like that was never said...Unlocking the mangekyou involves only killing your best friend or experiencing emotional pain,... something any retard ninja could....I Don't doubt they could have been smart, Just saying that was never stated..


Shikimaru should be last on the list since all the other people have experience over him.... He's smart but not as smart as his father shikaku...

Experience is different from genius, it is the capacity to learn rapidly and understand things, yes shikaku has more knowledge tham him, but by no stretch should shikamaru be last nor should his tactical capability be ignored.

As for madara, the uchiha clan had many deaths you weren't seeing mangekyo popping up all over the place, secondly after sasuke lost his faimily he still had to train before his mangekyo was awakened.

0. Minato - he is at the top because not only is he a tactical genius be he is a pioneer of many renowed jutsu, he also defeated tobi who has not lost to any other.

1.tobi - the most brilliant mind in the narutoverse atm and has only lost to one shinobi, he almost lost to another but that one had been preparing for their fight and had ammased a few billion explosives.

2. Hiruzen - He is a tactical genius and mastered all of the jutsu of the leaf

3. Shikamaru - tactical prodigy his clan is known for their strategic prowess, and he makes the must of his clans secret shadow jutsu.

4.Madara and Izuna. Both learnt mangekyo sharingan at an early age and took over the uchiha clan before age 17.

5.Itachi - He is one of the only uchiha that I don't see spamming mangekyo, and when he does use mangekyo he makes the most of tsukuyomi, having mastered it to a great extent.

6.Kakashi - tactical genius, you have all seen his fights. It was also mentioned that his non sharingan eye has a knack for being able to memories jutsu, which may have aided him in gaining the title copycat ninja.

7. Kabuto - Amassed a huge amount of knowledge in a search for who he was, is a commander in the the 4th ninja war.


I might get flamed for shikamaru being in there but I think I would have gotten flamed (by real naruto fans) if I didn't he is show time and time again for having a brilliant mind so he goes in at number 3.

I agree sort of, I think Shikaku deserves to be there too.

1. Itachi, because he planned out his and sasukes whole life and even had backup plans.

What are you talking about? You get your mangeykou right after emotional pain happens..

back then izuna and madara could have killed a best friend.. Tobi SAID many uchihas had mangekyou, And they were all going blind, thus the whole thing about having a younger brother to take his eyes..
in the entire uchiha history the brothers were sacrifices for the other one.. Pay attention -_-

There is literally no skill involved in unlocking mangekyou.. Mastering it is another thing..

And since Madara went blind faster than Izuna... It leads me to believe he was like sasuke.. the ms spammer.. while izuna was like Itachi, the one who rarely used it

How was he suppose to know tobi had some hidden secret to get out of amaterasu? How was he supposed to know that he;d get revived by edo tensei and kotoamatsuki would be used on him?

Tobi didn't even know about the ka plan...if he thought that the amaterasu was planning ahead.. what would he think about the back up back up plan..

Never actually understood why Tobi is considered a genius by everybody. Im not saying he isn't but can somebody give an example?
For me it was always clear that Shikamaru, Orochimaru and Kabuto were geniuses.

i agree with who is on your list and it has been said that Shikaku etc should be on there but i also reckon Neji should be there as well that is just my opinion.
