Except that Light is more badass but with less development. In the case of Death Note, I think that having an undeveloped character is worth it in order to make the story darker, because Naruto is now pretty much about Rainbows and Flowers.

That is why I like Lelouch from Code Geass. He is sort of cool and Bad-ass like Light except he is much more developed as a character like Obito is.

OT: I agree, he's very interesting, although I believe Johan Liebert is the best villain of all time in at least anime series. His intelligence surpasses even L and Raito's. He's from The Monster, although the series are quite pretty too long, but is worth it.

Johan doesn't even have a magic power lol. Doesn't even kill them himself.
Still, I like Light more. DN was the first anime I watched, maybe it's because of that.

Do you mean development or background, cause Light has some of the best development in anime, period. If you've watched the entire series, you can see just how much he changes overtime.
