Well its not really good proof on how fast Itachi is since we don't know how far it is, the panels you provided just shows that Itachi showed up somewhere (whether it is close or not) before kid Sasuke.

I'm actually a Itachi fan xD

His fight with Kirābī is better proof if you wanna prove how fast he is.

Kid or not the feat is still noteworthy. And as I state in the OP these are nothing to brag about..

Once again, shunshin has nothing to do with the speed category of databook. It's categorised as "ninjutsu". The "speed" category represents "reflexive speed". Itachi's shunshin feats pales in comparison to most since he barely even has shunshin feats

It does because you compared Itachi's speed to the roadway to Sasuke's, which shouldn't even be close as Sasuke wasn't even in the academy at that point. That said Itachi does have speed, even sick he was faster than Kisame and a lot of others.

You guys are nit picking the situation. Sasuke simply served as the factor to show case Itachi's speed during that moment. Him being kid does not lessen it. And I even say how these feats are nothing to brag out.

Sasuke's speed was never described as godlike. Only his shunshin was which is ninjutsu, having nothing to do with the speed category which represent reflexive speed

Uhm, the distance wasn't as large as you make it seems far from it actually. Look again. Kurenai was just breaking the genjutsu and Itachi

. It's actually even impressive that Kurenai who was just immobilise a second before still managed to protect herself against Itachi's kick. She didn't go that far as well after said kick. If you look closely you'll notice that the distance between wheree she lands and the bridge isn't that great(

). Also, because of the kick, there was a recover time on Kurenai's part. The time to recover and be on her feet again, Itachi had more than enough time to reach her back since he was the one in the offensive position at that moment. Kisame even warned Asuma for example for not paying attention. In kurenai's case she wasn't because of the recovery time after Itachi's kick. It wasn't as impressive as a speed feat as you think

The manga shows the distance of kurenai getting kicked way too small while actually in motion picture the distance seems much more greater. Also in the anime you notice kurenai go back a few more inches due to the force kick, in the manga she gets kicked and stays in the same spot. While i do admit the distance isnt such a large portion its still an impressive feat never the less.
