Lol the Sharingan is the Kekki Genkai of the Uchiha clan and it's one of the three greatest dojutsu in the naruto world. For it to be activated the user must under go some stressful or emotional condition to cause it's activation after that the user can activate it at will. The Sharingan gains more abilities by the number of tomoes the user has at most it is three tomoes. The first ability gives the user the ability to see the flow of chakra. This can also help the user tell if anyone is under Genjutsu. When you get second ability the user has clarity of perception which allows them to recognized Genjutsu and different types of chakra but not like the Byakugan. They also can read other people's lip movement. The third most know ability gain from the Sharingan is the user can memorize jutsus they see an opponent use but not jutsus that are KG. The Sharingan can also cast Genjutsu incredibly with eye contract with an opponent.

Now for you to unlock your 2T level you have to undergo 2 training sessions, first one is:

First training session: The student will begin with his/her Sharingan activated. The Sensei will be focused into teaching Sharingan's tracking abilities, by hiding himself/herself in diferent terrains such as at the bottom of the Lake, between trees deep into the forest, underground, in a Rocky Environment and dessert. The student will have to find his/her sensei's location using only his Sharingan, by seeking out chakra signals, heat source, the slightest moves.

I look through trees and bushes but can't find anything. I start looking around big rocks trying to find you. After a while I start seeing chakra signals behind a bolder. When I look directly at the bolder I see you really quick move your hand and I know your behind it. I start running towards it keep an eye to make sure your chakra signal stays still and when I get there I look behind the rock and find you.*

Alright that's it for the first session, now here comes the hard part and the longest part as well the second session >_>

Second training session: The student needs to be trained in the ability to see through visual D rank genjutsu and to predict most taijutsu and ninjutsu movement and techniques. Sharingan Sensei will explain how genjutsu works, using D rank examples which the student will have to pierce through and then the sensei will make fast handseals and fast taijutsu attacks. The training will end when the student will be able to predict/see through at least 2 handseals and 2 taijutsu attacks.

So i want you to tell me exactly everything you know about genjutsu, what are the different types of genjutsu and the different ways to break through it, give me a basic of your understanding of genjutsu and any question i'll gladly answer.

The Uchiha's Sharingan can see through it and also can cast showing their skills in Genjutsu. One way to break it is to have Sharingan which can see through it. Another way is to disrupt your chakra by stopping the flow in your chakra and applying a greater and release a stronger burst. You could also have someone disrupt your chakra. Someone could also go through intense pain like stabbing your leg to break through. Some people could train their eyes really good to be immune to Genjutsu.

I don't get that bold part O_O you mean like not look at Uchiha's sharingan? xd that's the only way that'd work, for other genjutsu your pretty much hit by it no matter what xd anyways good, no need for me to explain then let's move on to the First portion of the second session, breaking through D-ranked genjutsu techniques:

i change a part of a terrain making you distracted as two large trees suddenly appear before your eyes masking my presence from you as i throw a kunai right towards your head and by the trees in your line of sight the kunai is completely invisible to your eyes.

With your Sharingan you will learn to pierce through the genjutsu by applying chakra to your sharingan eyes and concentrating hard enough to break the genjutsu, ofcourse you only need to concentrate hard enough to achieve it but once you get 2T you can break free from D-rank genjutsu instantly.
