This is my Top ten list for the Harry Potter Universe

1) Albus Dumbledore
2) Lord Voldemort
3) Severus Snape
4) Alastor (Mad eye) Moody
5) Kingsley Shackelbolt
6) Minerva Mcgonagall
7) Fillius Flitwick
8) Bellatrix Lestrange
9) Rubeus Hagrid
10) Hermione Granger

I am aware this list is not perfect and I will accept any suggestions.

Nice list, though I for some reason put Minerva ahead of Kingsley (for purely theoretical reasons). In practice, that's a legit list. Bellatrix though knowledgeable about magic got trounced by Mollie. At least we can say Mollie has earned a top 15 standing, eh?

Harry is good but not top ten. Also by feats Bellatrix>Molly. Molly won due to JK Rowlings "Love Power"

No I'm not. But I don't just see him in top 10 of the strongest wizards and witches. He can take on some spells but then again lacks in magical ability.

Hermione is a boss. Just thinking about what she has done from book 1 to book 7, it's absolutely scary at how powerful and how much more potential Hermione had. Honestly speaking, the only ones I see being far more powerful and smarter than Hermione were Voldemort and Dumbledore. She was able to make among the deadliest and hardest potions known, she can perform nearly any spell, curse, hex, etc. flawlessly and her sheer mental power always put her a few steps ahead of anyone she's fighting, able to counter nearly anyone. Not to mention her control over magic made her spells so much more potent, it was unreal. Give her the time Voldemort and Dumbledore had to practice and hone their skills and I will have no doubt in my mind that Hermione can surpass both of them. She definitely deserves to be in the top 10, but I would put her at number 3.
