naruto is a uzumaki by blood
his hair color comes from the fact that his fathers genes were dominate. this mean he has a suppresed gene which could when past down could give someone red hair, secondly kurama has p;ayed a big part in this but damn look at the kid go 2 days in a battle in a war bijuu mode all of that and still can go thats a trait of a uzumaki was their life energy and plus he knows sealing techniques look at the seal he used to reseal kurama at the begining when he was using kyuubu mode.
