Okay, this will be my first thread ever of this nature. I've seen other people do this before, so
eh figured I might as well as give it a try.
So I have this friend, Josh, who is pretty thick when it comes to cues of when a girl likes him and
when to make a move. I'm having an argument with him and wanted to get some opinions here
to prove my point (I'm okay with you guys disagreeing though).
So what happened was that he went on this random culture immersion trip with some random other people
that he never met before. One of the girls, Tammy, was pretty cute and all three of the guys liked
her. One of the guys was really weird though but the other one, Mike, along with Josh were pretty
close with Tammy. Josh was the only guy that was pretty chill all the time and never made *** jokes
or anything like that with the girls, and so the girls all liked him the best. Except for Tammy, none
of them liked the other guys, Mike because he only paid attention to Tammy.
So one day, Mike tells Tammy she likes him before the trip was over, and she
was just like, I'm not interested. (She also mentioned that she liked this other guy back home).
So Tammy and the other girls talk to Josh about it since he's the chill one with all of them.
Flash forward a little, and Josh goes to grab lunch with Tammy alone and they go to the movies.
Josh thinks it's just a friend thing since he knows that Tammy had that crush thing going on with some guy.
She later mentions to him that the guy she kind of liked told her he liked her, and she had just been like
"Eh" and wasn't interested. Josh still didn't do anything though since he still didn't figure she liked him. Now, normally she used to reply to his texts right away but now she stopped responding.
Ok, so I told Josh that he was an idiot and that she did like him, but he's not so sure. He thinks it's coincidence that
she just stopped answering texts.
So guys.... is Josh an idiot or what? And what should he do now?
He likes her but just didn't think that it had been the right time before. I think it's too late now but feel
free to agree with either of us or neither of us.
And btw, please don't be too harsh about this, since I plan on showing Josh the responses so nothing TOO
insulting please.
And I know it's an incredibly long read, so anyone that actually spends the time to go through this and give
a proper response, I want to thank a bunch and say you're awesome!
