Some of my friends have shit tastes too, so I just accept that they're shit people. No point stressing over it. Not everyone close to you is gonna like One Piece.

My friend couldn't get into One Piece because he said it was too kiddish, oh well.

342 Episode are enough to know whether they would like something or not. ( you said he watched earlier ones before).

You cannot force anyone to like something if he is not into it and it's really annoying when people try to sell it so desperately like that. Let him be and if he wants later on he can pick or not pick it himself. He has a right to chose for himself.

One piece is good but not without it's problems and I cannot tolerate the slow anime for it myself. I read manga only.

PS: I wasn't impressed with Thriller Bark either. Too much Disney.

One piece is the best ANIME and I started loving the ANIME after first 2-3 episodes only, idk why people say it becomes good later on and known for its story bcoz I don't love him bcoz of its story, its just there is something in one piece which will make you remain intact with it.

342 episodes?? Who has time to watch all of this just to know whether ANIME is good or not? If you have watched 100 episodes of any ANIME, it will be enough for you to follow it till the end.

Ok I love one piece and I have been telling my friend to watch it for a year. He's the type of dude to get a story recommended by someone he doesn't like then says " the name threw me off I can't read it". Now of course he wouldn't dare say that to me. So he finally found it in him to watch one piece and he liked the explaining I did about the thriller bark arc. He said it sounded funny. So he started on episode 342 (he's already watched the early ones before) and only watched 2 episodes and said it as boring and he couldn't deal with it and he wasn't interested enough to watch it. I tried to tel him one piece isn't the type of show you just watch one episode and fall in love with, it's known for its good story and you have to watch it through. Unfortunately he said he hopes he never watches it again
I feel the same about Tokyo ghoul. I can't deal with Emo main protagonists and Emo side protagonists. And have you witnessed their fan-base? Lol The Tokyo Ghoul fan-base is literally one of the most retarded manga fan-bases I unfortunately had to witness. But, your friend ... I feel as though he's the type of person that would enjoy Fairy Tail. One Piece is definitely is not for him.

The anime is hard to commit to for some. The animation quality is old school and the art itself is popeye-esque. I started reading the manga so I got to see the progression of Odas art but for me that was secondary to how much I found myself enjoying the series. People who can't get into the series usually are just put off by the art and write off the series prematurely.

The most hard obstacle for a storyteller is how to get readers' attention to his story. The rise of events and developments, who have the patience to keep following a long story?

For me, I wished I never read/watched One Piece, but it's already beyond to say too late. I can't drop this shit. Not until I see the end of this series.
or die :lmao:
