Personality
People like to be around him, he is a very friendly and kind ninja. He rathers be in calm and happy, otherwise, when he gets angry, he losses control and rational thinking and becomes somewhat, reckless toward other people, when angered, his other teammates jump in at the same time to calm him down, not because they can't beat him, but to avoid injuries toward the people around him, and avoid any casualties that might happen, he doesn't loss counsieness however, he is always aware of what's happening, and what his teammates are doing. When in battle, he fights defensively for a while, to study and develop a counter strategy against his opponent, and for when counter attacks, his counter attack is devastating, being this said, sometimes his teammates call him the brains of the group. When it comes to making critical desisions he makes the best choices for the mission, and the safety for his teammates as well.

Background Info
Hatake Leo was born into the Hatake Family, being his uncle the White Fang of the Leaf, Hatake, Sakumo and his cousin The Copy Ninja Hatake, Kakashi. His parents were very ables ninjas, both of them being full fledge Jonnins. Short after Leo started the Ninja Academy, his parents were in a S-rank Mission, the mission was a success but at a heavy cost. 3 out of the 4 ninjas performing the mission didn't make it back, in those three, Leo's parents were in. The success of the mission brought prosperity, wealth and stability to the Hidden Leaf Village. After learning this, the village gave Leo a great deal of respect and sympathy toward the boy because of his parents. Because of what his parents had done, this motivated Leo to graduate with high scores from the Ninja Academy to become a Genin. As time passed, Leo trained hard in his skills, many times avoiding the Chuunin Exams to train become a stronger Genin, and when the time come he would be ready to Take the Chuunin Exams. Because he was a really strong Genin, he usually challenged fellow Chuunin ninjas from the village to spar with him for a while, and because he was training most of the time, he was able to keep up and sometimes beat his Chuunin opponents. When in time of training, his uncle Sakumo use to drop in from time, to time to check on Leo, without Leo even realizing it, and when Sakumo was gone, it was Kakashi turn to do what his father used to do towards Leo. Originately, the nickname The White Fang Jr. was reserved for Kakashi, but since Kakashi became The Copy Ninja, that nickname was given to Leo. Because Leo had the skills of a Chuunin yet he was still a Genin, the Hokage decided to test him by giving him a B-Rank mission, which could give prosperity to the village, which he performed with flying colors. Leo once however, asked the Hokage a very important request, to never let him make a mission with his cousin Hatake, Kakashi, although, Kakashi was his only family left and he didn't want to lose him on a mission the same way he lost his parents, knowing that Kakashi would feel the same, and none of them would worry towards each other during the mission, Leo later became a Chuunin at age 16, being of the strongest Genin in the village before going into the Chuunin stage.
