Also could somebody tell me what I could do with pixlr effects for a background?

Yeah I agree Zombie, but it was my first attempt. I wasn't going for style, I was trying to fit everything in, and see what the output would be like

do you guys even read the thread?

Just download photoshop and get some normal effects for christs sake...
also the size of the avatar is kinda squished
