Just as the title says, I looked at some tutorials and youtube and decided to give it a shot.

You will see alot of erased lines everywhere because as the title says, it`s my first attempt.

That's not what I meant lol, I apologize if you thought bad of it. I just think the eyes are good. But i dont think its your first cause i can see the many erasing marks lol, but i like the 80's anime vibe.

It's to sharp, Try rounding some things out, like the cheek bones and the chin. The eyes, keep doing what your doing, just improve on the technique.

I remember my first attempt at drawing an anime character. I was in 6th grade and I saw an episode of DBZ for the first time. It was one of the episodes with Goku running along Snake Way. I didn't get to finish the episode before having to leave for school.

Later that day I attempted to draw Goku. I wish I could post a scan of the drawing for everyone to see..... It was awful. The worst thing ever drawn in the history of things being drawn. I have held that shame for over a decade. Today is a wonderful day though because I can now pass that torch. Rasen Toad, I hereby award you the "Worst Thing Drawn in the History of Things Being Drawn".

OT: It is actually better than my first attempt. What helped me improve was tracing. I traced pictures for a few months and the lines kind of came to me. Muscle memory I guess.

Keep drawing and you will improve. Manga fact.
