Good afternoon/morning/night everyone, continuing my fanfiction from where we last left to day I bring you another flashback chapter….so don’t get your hopes up…And coment on the chapter and vote on the pool and in case you are new and curious about this the links to the previous and the first chapters are down there, lets get to the chapter no, shall we?

Chapter 656: The Final Test
*From where we left…Minato is looking at Gamabunta, astonished*
Gamabunta: Why did you summon me here?!
Jiraiya: This will be your opponent, Minato!
Minato (thinking): He can`t be freaking serious…
Gamabunta: JIRAIYA!! Answer my question you perverted old man!!
Jiraiya: Old man? I’m only like thirty and-
Gambunta: ANSWER!!!
Jiraiya: Ok, ok…gee, calm down. I summoned you here to test young Minato over there.
Gamabunta: Test him!? That little thing?! *Begins laughing* HAHAHA! You really are a joker, Jiraiya! But, really now…why did you summon me here?
Jiraiya: Well…boss, that wasn’t a joke.
Gamabunta: …
Minato: …
Jiraiya: …
Gamabunta: WHAT?!
Jiraiya and Minato (Simultaneously thinking): Oh crap!
Gamabunta: You cant seriously think this little runt has a chance against me? The boss summon of the toads?
Jiraiya: I will let you know Minato is one of the best students I ever had.
Gamabunta: HA! Like he can compare to me! This little weakling cant even land a punch on me!
Minato: Wait a minute…Who are you calling weakling?
Gamabunta: You of course! Who else would I be calling?
Minato: Well you know nothing about me you big ugly frog!
Gamabunta: Im not a frog you idiot, I’m a toad! Frogs have strong and long feet and slimy skin! Toads have stubby bodies with short hind legs and dry skin!
Minato: Like I care! You`re just a dumb oversized frog!
Gamabunta: Oh, you little-
Jiraiya (thinking): Well, who would have guessed? *Jumps off Gamabunta`s back and lands near Minato* The two developed some kind of rivaliry… that might turn things more interesting…
Jiraiya: *Coffs* Gentleman…
Minato and Gamabunta (simultaneously): WHAT?!
Jiraiya: As I was going to say before being rudely interrupted…the test will be fairly simple. Minato, do you remember when I teached you the Contract seal?
Minato: *Nods* Yeah, it’s this seal that if used either in the summon or the summoner, it severs the link between them for a period of time, the time the link is severed depends on the period of time since the creature has last been summoned. The less the time, the weaker is the link, so it takes more for it to reform. The bigger the summon, the more chakra you have to add…you can’t be planning to-
Jiraiya: Yup! Since you remember it the test will be to use the seal in the chief so you can cut the link between us.
Minato: What?! But I could barely sever the link with Gama! How can I sever the link with that?! It would require time to build the chakra and if I miss its over!
Gamabunta: And what makes you think I will collaborate with all of this? I might as well let the kid sever the link! Then I won’t need to battle for you in quite some time.
Jiraiya: Well Minato you should have studied harder. But I know a way to motivate both of you. If you win, Minato…I will let you sign the summoning scroll of the toads.
Gamabunta: WHAT?!
Minato: Really?! That would be so cool!
Gamabunta: NO! I won’t let this brat be my henchman, he dosent deserve having the power to summon toads!
Jiraiya: Well, then do something about it. Don’t let him use the contract seal on you… Minato, you have one hour, remember, if you can’t catch him it’s one more year on training.
Minato: What!? But you never told me that before!
Jiraiya: Well, you never asked…
Minato: Buts sensei-
Jiraiya: No buts Minato. I recommend you to try and strike Bunta in his head. Well, I’m off. *Disapears in a small hurricane of leafs*
Minato: …
Gamabunta: …
Minato: You won’t let me unlink you, will you?
Gamabunta: What do you think?
Minato : I shouldn’t have expected this to be so easy…*Pulls out a kunai* Im sorry, chief…*Dashes against the toad*

Minato (Narrator): Battling chief toad was unpleasant to say the least. None of my attacks seemed to work and I was really getting tired. But one whole year of training the same thing was something I wanted to avoid, I couldn’t let that ugly frog defeat me!
Minato: HAH! *Throws several shuriken at Bunta while on midair, the toad however deflects them with a quick swipe of his enormous sword, Minato tries to land on the toad`s head, but Bunta jumps back, avoiding Minato*
Gamabunta: HA! Do you think you can reach me with puny attacks like that?
Minato: Damnit….
Gamabunta: Your time is running out, kit! Better just give up!
Minato: Never!
Gamabunta: You are persistent…but I wouldn’t keep trying if I were you… you will just get hurt…* Jumps away*
Minato (thinking): Crap…I…*Stands up*
Minato: I won’t give up that easily!!! *Runs towards Gamabunta*
Gamabunta: Ugh…this persistence of yours is really irritating…*Tries to use his sword`s flat side to hit Minato*
Minato: Wind Blade!!*Makes a wind blade in his hand and uses it to deflect Bunta`s sword before throwing a kunai with a paper bomb at him and making a series of handseals* Ninja Art: Shadow Clone Shuriken Jutsu! *The kunai with paper bomb multiplies itself by seven*
Gamabunta: Toad Oil Bullet!! *Spits out a bullet of toad oil against the Kunai, the toad bullet explodes with the paper bomb kunai as it enters in contact with Minato* This will teach him…
Minato: Here I come! *Comes out of the smoke left by the explosion*
Gamabunta (thinking): What?! Hes still conscious after an explosion like that? How is that possible?!Unless...*Uses his left hand to slap Minato, but his hand passes right through the boy* …the clone jutsu…
*The real Minato lands on Gamabunta`s back and starts running towards his head*
Minato (thiking): Well, that was easy…now…for the seal…
Gamabunta: Oh, no you don’t! *Takes an impulse before Jumping high in the air*
Minato (thinking): Oh man, oh man, oh man!!! *As Gamabunta starts to fall Minato flies away from his back*
Gambunta: HA! Learn your place brat!
Minato: Im no brat! Shadow clone jutsu! *A second Minato appears next to the original and grabs him by the arm before throwing him towards Gamabunta*HERE I COME!!
Gamabunta: Come then! *Makes the Tiger Handseal* Water Style: Liquid Bullet!! *Launches a condensed ball of water towards Minato*
Minato: *Makes three handseals* Wind Style: Air Armor!! *Minato is incased in a sphere of wind right before it hits the water bullet, causing Minato to loose speed and the armor to dissipate, but the boy none the less comes out unharmed*
Gamabunta: You avoided it not bad…*prepares the flat side of his sword to hit Minato*…but not good either.
Minato (thinking): Damnit…I didn’t want to rely on it but time is running out and….damnit! *Makes a tiger handseal*
Minato: Water Style: Water Fang Bullet!! *Out of the water left by the Liquid Bullet, a water fang comes out and hits Minato, throwing him up in the air and making Gamabunta miss*
Gamabunta (thinking): He used his attack to get out of the way of my sword...Smart...but what is he planning next?
Minato (thinking): Ill have to do it…NOW!! *Throws a wind chakra enhanced Kunai at Bunta`s back*
Gamabunta: OWW! You brat! You will pay!!*Jumps and spins midair before making the tiger handseal* This is gonna hurt!
Minato (thinking): C`mon Minato….you can do this…
Gamabunta: Water Style: Liquid Bullet!! *Launches a condensed ball of water towards Minato*
Minato (thinking): I gotta do it…gotta do it…* The bullet hits him, making water fall everywhere
Gamabunta: Humph…this will take care of him…
Minato: You think!! *Appears on top of Gamabunta`s head, where he threw the Kunai*
Gamabunta: What?!
Minato: Flying Thunder God….Level 1! And now…*Punches Gamabunta`s back with an open hand* Contract Seal!!*The seal appears on Bunta`s head and moments later he disappears in a poof of smoke, leaving Minato to fall to the ground*
Minato (thinking): I…did it…
*Minato falls hard on the ground hard as his vision grows darker and darker until he is completely unconscious*
Extra Note: Do not ask me why Minato didn’t use the jutsus Ive shown you in this chapter on the battle against Obito, it will be explained later.

Jiraiya: This will be your opponent, Minato!
