Chapter 639: Friends Clash Again
*Sasuke and Naruto are seen staring into each other’s eyes across the valley of the end*
Sasuke: Well, well…does this situation ring a bell, Naruto?
Naruto (thinking): Yes…that day…
(Flashback)
*Younger versions of Naruto and Sasuke are seen standing on the exact same place both boys were, Sasuke also has cursed seal markings over his face and a yellow left eye*
Naruto: Why? Sasuke…why did you become like this?!
Sasuke:…what does it matter to you, whatever I become? I have my own path to follow. No matter who it is, nobody has the right to tell me what to do….so I’ll keep it simple, I am not gonna associate with Konoha anymore. Go home.
(Flashback ends)
Naruto (thinking): That day…I wasn’t able to stop you…but we both know…
Sasuke: Yes, what we started that day was never finished.
Naruto: I don’t want to do this, I told you, Sasuke…if we go on…we’re not gonna survive.
Sasuke: If I am to find my true purpose…I will take the risk
Naruto: True purpose…Oh, god…what have they put in your head now?
Sasuke: Shut up! You don’t understand…you’d never understand…
Naruto: Sasuke…
Sasuke: Promise me this, Naruto…you wont hold back, not even for a second, fight as if you were going to kill me!
Naruto: Sasuke…I…I cant! I wont do it!
Sasuke: Then you die!
Naruto: …
Sasuke: Do it…weren’t we rivals?
Naruto(thinking) : Rivals?...did he just call us...rivals?
Naruto: I guess you can say that…
Sasuke: Then respect my wish, fight as you were going to kill me.
Naruto:…*Smiles* I will.
Sasuke: *Smiles* then shall us begin. *Both disappear in a body flicker and reappear running in the river between them dashsing against each other*
*Naruto appears inside his head*
Naruto: Kurama! How’s the chakra going?
Kurama: Not good, im still charging, you’ll have to fight him without it for now.
Naruto (thinking): Damnit…*Pulls two kunai out of his weapon pocket, one in each hand*
Sasuke (thinking): Lets see how strong he’s gotten first so I can use my Magenkyo Sharingan later.*Draws his sword out of his sheath*
*Naruto and Sasuke clash kunai and sword, Naruto tries to stab Sasuke with his other kunai but Sasuke holds his arm before he succeeds*
Sasuke: So you are fighting to kill…*Kicks Naruto towards the shore near the Hashirama statue and goes after him*
Naruto: Sh*t… * Gets up and throws one of his kunai at Sasuke who blocks it with his sword before trying to bring his sword down at Naruto, the Uzumaki blocks the attack with his other kunai before jumping back and making a Shadow Clone Jutsu*
Sasuke: You wont escape me that easy! *Jumps after Naruto, but the boy’s clone makes a Rasengan in his hand and throws him towards Sasuke*
Naruto: Take this! Rasengan! * Lands his Rasengan on Sasuke’s chest, throwing him back to the middle of the river*
*Naruto appears inside his head*
Naruto: Kurama, cant you land me any chakra at all?
Kurama: Well… I can…but it wont be as powerfull as chakra mode
Naruto: I don’t care…I just need something to get the upper hand against teme…
Kurama: If you insist…
*Naruto’s body starts being surrounded by a red liquid until he is finally covered by a nine tails cloak with three tails*
Sasuke (thinking): Again? What a lack of originality…
Naruto: SASUKE!! *Dashes against his former friend, but Sasuke simply ducks and lets Naruto pass right above him, Naruto then turns and uses a chakra arm at Sasuke before pushing him near the Uzumaki, Naruto then grabs him by the neck and shoves him on the ground (or river, whatever)* NOW YOU’LL STOP THIS MADNESS?!
Sasuke: *Takes a deep breath*Sharingan *Places a genjutsu on Naruto before kicking him high in the air and using a chidori spear and try to impale his former friend and rival, but before he succeeds, Naruto disappears in a body flicker* Where did he go now?!
Naruto: Behind you. *Sasuke turns only to be shoved In the ground (or river) again, but this time, Naruto uses a kick to take impulse and to launch himself in the air*
Naruto (thinking): Kurama’s chakra is already running out…I have to finnish this now…*Chakra starts circulating around his cloak until two light blue Rasengan are formed in his hands*
Naruto: SASUKE!!*A chakra arm comes out of his cloak and pushes Naruto towards the river and Sasuke* TAKE THIS!!!
Sasuke (thinking): Crap, he’s coming! I’ll have to use it! *Activates his EMS and a Susanoo ribcage appears around him*
Naruto: DOUBLE VERMILLION RASENGAN!!! *Lands them on Sasuke’s Susanoo making the river explode*
Extra note: Well...i couldnt find a good spot to stop the fight so...here was as good as it could get
