he said this, from an angle where both sasuke and himself clearly saw two of the allied forces jinchuriki's get attacked and offered no assistance.

He was referring to the God Tree, getting the last two bijuu major chakras back..

Naruto was drained, and it seems killer bee was perhaps drained as well.


However, we do not know yet if the bijuu's were absorbed, or if the jinchuriki seal can prevent stealing of the charka, however from what we saw with killer bee and naruto vs Nagato and Itachi, this isn't likely that the seal offer's that much protection.

Sasuke's crew know about the God Tree due to orchimaru taking them to the tablet.

Sasuke want's the tree to calm down after taking back it's full 9 parts, take the fruit for himself.


circling back, this leads to me to believe that the God Tree can sense ill intent much like Naruto himself could, if Sasuke and Juugo had no intention of trying to stop the God Tree, then of course it would focus on getting it's major chakras back.

Why Naruto wasn't able to detect emotions on the Juubi, if the Juubi was supposed to wield hatred towards those who took his chakra?

Yes, however, unless Madara snuck back into the Uchicha tablet room on his deathbed when he unlocked the rinnegan, he wouldn't know anymore then Sasuke does with his EMS.

Kurama's power's allowed naruto to sense ill intent, the Juubi with parts of all 9 bijuu couldn't do the same?

Sasuke knew better then to attack the God Tree, he knew it was different from the rampage juubi modes.

Sasuke knows about the fruit, and he will plan to steal it, Madara doesn't realize how much of a threat sasuke is, Sasuke possibly knows just as much as Madara, IF madara didn't make it back to the tablet room on his deathbed with the rinnegan.

I don't believe he did make it back to the room, Nagato seemed to know more then anyone about this subject, and Obito didn't have a chance to read the tablet seeing as how he was occupied with the war the entire time.

What's basically explained that as soon as Madara unlocked the rinnegan, he summoned the gedo statue to keep himself alive.

exactly why he wouldn't dare risk his life when he's this close to getting the fruit.

if the manga took this route, I wouldn't be disappointed.

Remember, Sasuke DID say- "we're going to the battlefield" ...which isn't exactly specific towards helpful or selfish intent. He could still carry on Itachi's legacy by betraying them all, his motive may be even stronger than Madara's. It also makes Jugo's line make total sense.

I wouldn't be surprised oro is always up to something or knows something nobody else knows. I think Tobi/Obito told him about IT and what would happen. Sasuke never truly worked with Tobi but obito seeing sasuke fight alongside naruto Obito deemed sasuke a traitor meaning despite what sasuke was told he still went against obito.

However, several chapters ago, Juugo said he didn't know what Sasuke's plans were. For him to say that, he would have no know Sasuke's plans.
Also, Sasuke was trying to kill the ten tails. He was very adamant about that. I think he was trying to prevent this from happening. So at the very least Plan A wasn't steal the fruit. I suppose this could be Plan B though.
I don't think Sasuke would betray the village at this point. He said, "I won't let this village… and my brother… be wasted!" He put the village before Itachi, implying he really wanted to defend it. He's still a dark character but he is loyal to the Leaf now.
Moreover Naruto didn't sense any ill intentions from Sasuke. I think he would have felt it if Sasuke wanted to steal the fruit.
Finally, I think Sasuke was just out of range of the tree. one panel shows three fodders standing behind Sasuke and Juugo who were unaffected as well. And Naruto was teleported away to near Sasuke's location, implying that there he was safe from the roots.

Everyone is talking about a non-existent fruit ! Right know we just got that stupid tree it isn't even sure that there will be a fruit after all it's said that it's super rare for that fruit to grow.. once in a millennium or so it states!

Also I doubt that Sasuke will try to do the same as Obito and Madara seriously none of the remaining Uchihas work together ... rather everyone wants to be the one in control.. aren't they stupid!!

As much as I like this idea (it would be the solution as to how sasuke will be on par with naruto) I don't think it will happen, mainly because I don't think 1000 years have passed since the Sage of Six paths defeated the Ten Tails. Also, even if 1000 years have passed, we don't know WHEN exactly the fruit is supposed to grow. Do they mean that 1 fruit will grow when the tree is done maturing, and it will take 1000 years for another to grow? Or is it that a fruit will grow 1000 years after the tree is done maturing? It just seems unlikely to me but who knows...

No, I would have to say due to the fruit being mentioned and how Madara is keen on getting it himself, I think that implies that this is a hot coming event that's going to take place while naruto is recharging.
