my eyes are way too big for my face

im learning how to draw and im having a hard time drawing the eyes on to the face because i keep on drawing them way too big than it should be so the face always looks weird. i also screw up with the size of the eyes; sometimes, the right eyes is bigger/smaller than the left eye...

whats the secret to drawing perfect eyes?

i have a similar style to tetsuya nomura when it comes to drawing the eyes. im a quadrillion times noob than him though...
