1.RANGE
I would love range to plaY a part in battles.
By bringing back the mutlit-layered stages from the orignal ultimate ninja series one can asees the ranges more accurately.Close range would be inches from each other (Best for taijustu)
Mid range (Best for ninjustu that take a second to execute but,best used at the closest range possible and far range for long distant attacks and weapons (Best fighters at this range would be temari and ten ten to name a few)
And to be more specific;
Say if Temari was on the opposite side of the sceen of her opponent when you attempt to attack with her she would bust out her large fan
And if you moved closer you have the option of pulling out a smaller fan fit for close quater battles.
And moves that bypass all ranges or never had a restricted range to begin with (Like sasori's iron sand storm ) would reign down over the screen even if your not on the same level.And regardless of where your at on the screen FTG would teleport minato right to his opponent or depending what input you decide to press in front of or behind your opponent.
2.TIGHTER CONTROLS
I hate the mindless button mashing it makes everyone seem generic and you never get a feel for each persons style of fighting the fighting should not be refrained to one button.Kimmimaro's taihenjustu,lee's strong first style,neji's agility when using the gentle fist are all great and i never feel the impact when i am playing.
A great control scheme that would flow seamlessly with the series would be the ones used for the street fighter series.I think it would also be nice if each person who had a weapon could choose when to bring it out (Maybe assign L1 as the stance and weapon changer like in mortal kombat deadly alliance ?)
3.CUSTOMIZATION
Each character as i stated should have an exclusive list of combo's and not ones with generic names thought of on the spot.I never seen anyones moves feel like they been ripped from the manga or feel as if they would ever name a move like that it just doesn't feel right.
I would love to see each character have a more exclusive combo list.Since rock lee cant use ninjustu it would be cool if he had more combo's then the average ninja since he does train all day everyday.And remember the capsules from dragonball z budakai ?
How cool would it be if you had the option of choosing all the justu you ever seen your favorite character do or known to have and select want you want to use in battle ? Give me the option of selecting naruto's old moves or new moves and even have a mixture of both.
Want to use a more hands on naruto ? Equip uzumaki barrage,windmill of shadows and sage mode or become a naruto who uses all his chakra for different types of resengans or a mixture of both and each move would take up more slots so you would have to actually decide what you should bring to the fight.
Who here is tired of fake ass justu crammmed in there with generic names ? We all kow each character has way more then 2 justu give us the option to pick what abilities we want to use!!!
And lastly let us make a character of our very own.Let us choose our avatar,his or her clothing,weapons,appearance,elements and justu.
Oh and get rid of that whack ass support characters they ruin the pace of the game and are cheesy as all hell.Why not give us an option to summon animals instead ?or just make a tag team option in versus mode ?
