I guess I'm one of the fortunate ones--when my wisdom teeth were growing I felt minimal pain. And they grew out perfectly and gracefully.

Do what I did and have them cut out by a dentist.

I had my wisdom teeth cut out of my gums before they even broke through. That extraction was the single most horrible and painful event in my life.

Just endure the pain. Use orajel or something stronger to numb your gums. Don't let a dentist swindle you into getting them extracted for insurance money!
