While the shoulder joint provides the largest range of movements, it is also one of the weakest joints of the human body (generally more mobility means less stability). So if I were you, I would go to a doctor and check what is wrong with your shoulder. The last thing you want to do is to make it worse and extend the recovery period.

I see. Thank you.

I'll look around Wal-Mart, and buy that.

what to do when you need medical info?
ask on a naruto forum instead of a doctor

Personally, I think you should check on a doctor first. I understand your excitement for getting the new position, (I've been there, shit's awesome) but if you had to choose between going injured on a practice where you won't be able to do your best due to the injury, or just wait for a bit and see how it goes, the latter one seems like the safest option. If you do go to the practice, you might be taking the risk of f***ing the injury up even more.

I was in a (Fairly) similar situation once, during my MMA class. I had recently been offered a spot in the official team of my club, but screwed my knee up a bit during some soccer with friends. Despite that, I decided to keep on showing up to practice despite the pain, which ended up with my knee pretty much falling apart, forcing me to take a two month break. So, if I was in a similar situation now, I'd take the safer route, although if you choose the other one it's understandable. If you do decide to go, just take some pain killers like the guy above suggested, and try to avoid causing any further injury to the arm, and it should all be fine.

I wouldnt risk it. Playing with an injury is sure to make it worse. Also what if you perform badly and saying you are injured is gonna sound just like an excuse. However, none of us can really tell how bad it is since we cant feel it. If you feel like you can play and its not serious then go ahead.
