@TAC: Its the laziest genre? Last I checked the country music stars have a much more limited subject range and have nearly next to no complex devices besides getting an accent in your voice and having the ability to be looked on as a loser the rest of your life :lol

Legit listed country as the worst genre, yet you're expecting me to defend it. It's 99% trash, little worse than rap. Not to mention I'm pretty sure their message is almost as applicable to such hits as Blessings or Nikki's Only song.

Pop music requires the least skill. You just have to have a pretty face and they will hook you up with hits. It has nothing to do with lyrics as you aren't the one doing the writing, and now your voice gets fixed up, have a catchy hook and a decent beat and bam you have yourself a typical radio hit. Takes close to no skill at all. Pretty brainless.

Rap actually requires some form of skill, and there's meant to be an actual message there, its basically modern day poetry. Now of course like with any genre there are some shitty artists, you can't expect everything to be perfect.
