It was correct, Amaimon did know Priest, in a sense. Well, he did bully him in the past untill he learnt how to fend for himself with fists and kicks. A Mandalorien, a Bartholomew and a Katsuryoku.

''Well, I see we're quite the gathering huh? So I don't want any racial slurs, understood''
Gets noted down on the blackboard as general class rules.

''O'right. So, we all have a really vague idea of what a Medical Ninja. Some examples could be, that's the guy whos the frontline medic, the guy who sits in his office all day making various potions mixtures, poison, enhancements whatnot. The guy who does surgery in the hospital. I want you to go home, or stay in class - But read up on this in our class books, and eventually figure out the following;

You need to write a small text where you explain what chakra is, how it works and how the human body relates to chakra in narutoverse.

After you have handed in your homeworks, we will look them through and if need be discuss them together. Any questions? If no, please say so, and continue do your homework. If yes, please say so. ''

OOC: Make a thread with Homework prefix, pls O^O
"No questions", says Corvo as Dr. Amaimon finishes his instructions. Gathering his belongings along with the new textbooks that were given to him, Corvo heads home and begins working on his task. The questions seemed easy enough, though he understood that this was just the beginning and that things would only get increasingly complex.

The next day, he arrives at the class and places his assignment on top of the doctor's desk, taking a seat front and center as before.

Chakra can best be described as the life force that governs our world. It is what we use to perform ninjutsu, allowing us to perform acts that would otherwise be impossible. Created through the combination of physical and spiritual energy (energies that can be improved on through training physically or through meditation and study, respectively), chakra is housed in our bodies and travels in what is referred to as the Chakra Pathway System, a network similar to that of the cardiovascular and nervous system (more so the former, however). This chakra is capable of being expelled through pressure points along the body called "tenketsu", allowing for the release of chakra in the form of a jutsu. The body and chakra go hand-in-hand; if one were to exhaust their chakra reserves fully, death would follow shortly. Alternatively, it can be inferred that a full chakra reserve allows the individual to perform at their peak level. This excludes taijutsu in most cases, where the individual would only need to rely on physical strength and stamina to perform basic body techniques such as punches and kicks.

At somepoint in time, we will all face situations where we will need Medical Tools, to treat our patients. It could be to create antidotes or special medicine. It can be to bandage or stitch wounds, and therefore we will need to make sure we always have proper accesss to medical tools, in order to avoid an awkward situation.

*Hands out a scroll to each of you*

This technique allows a Medical Ninja to summon some of the tools of their trade. It is not practical to carry around syringes, scalpels and other tools but a scroll that can be used to summon these and other similar objects is both practical and convenient.

Draw some blood, and merely slam it upon the designated area on the scroll. For each Circular Kanji, theres the description of the tool above. Take a look at the list.

(Kuchiyose No Jutsu: Eisei Yougu) Summoning technique: Medical tools
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: N/A
Chakra cost: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The medical Ninja will bite his thumb and do the summoning handseals before pressing his palm on the scroll. He will summon any of the medical tools he needs that are listed on the scroll, all or just one, depending on his own needs.
Note: This can only be used by Medical Shinobi.

I want you both to make a Homework Thread, where you pick out four of the items, and elaborate on their use. You can't choose the same items. First Serves! O^O
Corvo arrives home that same day and begins writing his assignment; he had spoken to Priest about which items they would be elaborating on so as to not end up writing about the same thing:

アドレナリン - adrenaline, to be injected intravasulary, induces faster heartbeat:

A shot of adrenaline which is administered through intracardiac injection, where the injection is administered directly into the heart muscles. This is typically used as a means of quelling severe allergies that induce anaphylaxis; can also be used to increase heart-rate as stated above. "Adrenaline" or Epinephrine is naturally produced in our bodies via the adrenal glands, and works by increasing pupil dilation, blood sugar, heart rate output, and blood to the muscles.

ベッド - a mobile bed to carry patients:

A bed with wheels underneath used for patients that must lie down; can be summoned in a high-low position or a flat one. Provides an easier means to move patients who must remain lying down or seated.

モルタル - mortar and pestle, chemically clean:

Two objects that are heavily synonymous with pharmacology, used as a means of crushing ingredients together in order to form a paste or mixture. The mortar is a bowl usually made out of ceramic or stone, while the pestle is a blunt, club-shaped object used to crush the ingredients. This can also be used to grind up pills in order to speed up the absorption process in the body via ingestion.

スプーン - spoon, sterile:

A sterilized spoon, used to scoop out brains administer liquid medicine. Can also be used to consume other solid forms of medicine that require ingestion besides pills.

Chishio Tensou no Jutsu (Blood Transfusion Skill)

The lack of blood, granted through loss of blood is a severe... Serious, to be more precise, condition, and not a very uncommon one in the Shinobi verse, that we traverse. When reaching this peculiar state, a Med Nin seeks to ease their symptoms by using this technique. The Med Nin first places their surgical cut on the patient and a willingly donor. The donor and the recipient must have their respective cuts within six inches of eachother this is typically accomplished by cutting each of their arms, those that are closet. z.z...
Forming a link through a chakra sphere created from your palm, you allow this to act as a tube, or canal, if you would for the blood to channel through. In this sphere you alter the blood type of the donor so it matches the recipient. It's important to remember that siphoning a 1 pint of blood from the donor can prove extremely dangerous. With the loss of one 1 pint, the donor may suffer great dizziness and fatigue.

The Technique:

(Iryō Ninjutsu: Chishio Tensou no Jutsu) Medical Technique: Blood transfusion Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Once the Medical Ninja has a donor (a willing one or not), he or she makes two small cuts, one on the patient, and one on the donor, placing them side by side so it is easy to put those cuts about 30 cms apart. Then the Nin forms a chakra orb which then transfuses the blood from the donor to the patient. The technique requires high levels of chakra control and can even change the blood type of the donor to match that of the patient.
Note: It transfers 400ml of blood per turn

Homework:

Your homework will be to write a small description, and explain what blood loss is, and it's effects on the human body. Well, namely in the Narutoverse context. Try and link RL knowledge and Narutoverse logic.
Corvo enters his study and sits, contemplating on the lecture that was given before beginning to write for his homework assignment:

Blood loss describes any moment where an individual's body is cut or pierced, causing their blood to spil out from within. Blood loss not only occurs through this manner, but it can be coughed up or excreted from the body as well. The effects that blood loss have on an individual person vary depending on the amount of blood that's lost in a given amount of time; someone who has only experienced a minor cut will seldom experience any physiological differences, whereas someone who has been losing a significant amount of blood for several minutes may find themselves very light-headed, weak, and cold. Within our world, we can use chakra as a means of remedying blood loss by stopping it at the source and transfusing new blood into the victim.

Ondochousetsu (Temperature Control)

Theres an average body temperature, which varies between the 36, and 37 °C. I don't recogonize the °F, so we stick to the usage of °C. It's an extremely important aspect of the human body, as when the temperature is irregular the oranism can't work functionally. An example could be metabolism will get hindered because of the deviation from the regular number.
A normal temperature is needed for all enzymes to work properly and all proteins to exist in their most suited state.

.

Homework:

Questions (Answer these after reading the article):

-Which part of the body initiates the increased tempreature, and how does it happen (On the cellular level)?
-Why do we get fevers?
-Why do we feel chills after getting a fever?
-Difference of a Bacterial and Viral induced fever?
-Difference between 'Hypothermia' and 'Hyperthermia'

Come back when you have finished homework and we will see what we've got to work with so far. =}
Corvo returns home and proceeds to complete the questions assigned to him:

1. The Hypothalamus located in the brain, which regulates body temperature by sending signals to the sweat glands, causing the body to sweat if a person is too hot, or by sending signals to the muscles in order to create spasms to warm the body up. The body produces pyrogens, a response from the immune system, which tricks the hypothalamus into thinking that the body is colder than it is in reality, thereby causing the increase in body temperature.

2. There are a variety of causes for fevers, such as viral, bacterial or parasitic infections, although it is generally considered as a defensive mechanism against the invading bacteria or infection; raising body temperature prevents the virus from growing/multiplying since they tend to spread best at normal body temperature.

3. When the brain increases the body's temperature, the rest of the body becomes confused, as if it needs to meet that higher temperature. The body thus feels cold because technically it is colder than the body's new temperature; as a result the body works to generate heat to warm itself by contracting and relaxing muscles, thus the shivering.

4. Bacteria are complex single-celled organisms with a rigid wall and a thin rubbery membrane around the fluid inside the cell, and they can also reproduce on their own. Viruses are much smaller and cannot survive without a host; they can only reproduce by attaching to other cells.

5. Hyperthermia happens when the body produces more heat than it can lost, while Hypothermia occurs when the body loses more heat than what it can produce, causing the person to feel extremely cold.
