I saw the documentary yesterday i was thinking make a thread about it anyway not because of someone made a human flesh thread . the guy in the left corner caught a bigger one couldn't take it to the bank of the river . one in the picture is six feet bigger one must be at least ten feet .
i can vouch for the possibility of giant maneating catfish.
Catfish, if they have a constant supply of food can continue to grow and grow and grow. People who have gone scubba diveing near our local dam, have reported seeing catfish the size of boats. The catfish get a constant food supply from the fish that get caught in the turbines.

Just because that catfish is the biggest ever caught and recorded(freshwater), doesnt mean there cannot be bigger fish out there, that havent been caught yet. This could eat a whole baby whole, and eat several limbs of a adult person. If there were several of them, then they could completely finish entire humans. This fish could certainly grab on someones leg, and drown them though(and some smaller fish)
After reading the article, it seems quite likely that there were large catfish drowning people.
