First off, if anyone who is reading this and has not seen this film, I strongly encourage you to view it.
This movie was written and directed by Joe Carnahan, who also directed the "Smokin' Aces" movies.
Starring Ray Liotta as Detective Henry Oak and Jason Patric as Detective Nick Tellis, it is one of THE BEST non-Hollywood cop movies EVER made. Everything from the script, actors/acting, camera work to the score, plot and editing are all weaved together into an A+ Action/Drama film!
"When the trail goes cold on a murder investigation of a detective, an undercover narcotics officer (Patric) is lured back to the force to help solve the case with a new partner (Liotta)."
