[Discussion] Muslims want peace, just not with a jewish or israeli state

I have read this is a true statement for many muslims in the middle east, but what about muslims who live outside of the middle east? Is this true about your personal opinion regarding Israel and a Jewish State?

I'm Muslim and live outside the Middle East. I'd like peace with Jewish states. Only the (Edit:*select*) Arab Muslim scums hate Jews. I have a couple of jewish friends and they're nice.

Edit: By "scums' I meant select individuals. No one needs to get offended.

Edit 2: What I originally meant was that I referred to individuals in the Arab states treating jews as scum hence they are scum.

The Conservative and Progressive Muslims mostly want peace and just want to be left alone with their freedom of religion. There are exceptions and outliers to these ideals, though. The few Jihaadist Muslims believe only in peace through conflict, e.g. destroying others with different religious beliefs, those who are impeding their ideals.

Religion separates instead of unifies. If everyone believes in ONE god, then they all believe in the same god. When it comes down to it we are all creatures of Earth, we are not muslims, jews, or christians, we are Earthlings.

I’d have to agree.

They want their religion to be excepted and protected in foreign countries, but are unwilling to return the same hospitality in their own.

I don’t like religion, I think it’s one of the single most destructive things mankind has ever created, but you should have the right to believe what you want so long as it doesn’t encroach on the rights and freedoms of others. - It’s influence should be weeded out of politics altogether.

Islam preaches peace. It also supports accepting other religions. While the religion notes that they are wrong, it doesn't say to specifically view them as scum nor to discriminate them.


No different from my own religion which is Catholicism. Though I'm not really one to think that anyone that isn't Catholic is going to Hell which more by the boom believers would.



Honestly it is about judging people for people. Not about judging people by a class they fall under. Because even within that same class there is individuality and differences of opinion.


Some Islamic people would burn Israel and even America if given the chance. Others would never even CONTEMPLATE the idea.

Lol i remember my teacher told us a story when she lived in America .

She gave dates (as gifts ) to the women next door .

Actions speak louder than words.

For centuries muslims have been preaching about peace but there actions say otherwise. Whether it's the crusades or the current problems with the middle east going on now, violence and segregation is usually involved.

This is mostly because muslims are extremely strict and have die hard followers who will do anything for there religious beliefs without questioning anything. And of course everyone feels like their religion is the superior one.

Is every muslim like this? No, of course not. Many muslims practice what they preach but many as well keep pulling the same stupid crap.

Most religions have done hypocritical things, but people who don't think for themselves are the ones to blame not the religion itself.

@Bold; You have no right to judge anyone. Just because you saw or know a few how hate Jews doesn't mean every single arab does. Think what you write, please. You are hurting others unknowingly.

It isn't very peaceful if Islam wants to take away my wine and force me to pay a tax because I'm not a Muslim. How is this peaceful? Peaceful would be where they take control of Canada and don't take away wine and do not force me to pay a discriminatory tax.
