In Dragon Ball they had 2 places; one for the good, one for the bad.

When Goku died for the first time, he was sent to King Kai by a big guy so he could train. The big guy told Goku that his brother also met with him (with the big guy), but was sent straight to hell.

Also, before sacrificing himself, Vegeta asked Piccolo if he would go in the same place as Goku; he was told "No".

The big guy also said that his room was crowded with souls when Buu started killing people.

Murder a clan? Is that the clan that was about to stage a coup? That is an act of war. So killing them was ruthless, but not murder. Killing innocents like the children maybe considered murder in the real world, but not I don't believe it is in feudal Japan (upon which NV is based). I believe it was considered normal and necessary to decimate a rival faction, such that they could not redevelop and take revenge (also expected).

I don't think there is a heaven in the Narutoverse.

None of the Edo Tenseis remember any form of afterlife. Zabuza mentioned how the last thing he remembered was the Kanabi bridge, and the 2nd Mizukage didn't remember dying.

Maybe their spirits remain in limbo for a while before being reincarnated?
