Don't the Gates unleash more chakra throughout the body? The 8th Gates increases your chakra a hundred-fold so hypothetically speaking, imagine if Itachi can tap that chakra and stabilize it into a PS Susano'o. Shit, he'd have enough chakra to make clone PS's. Not that he'd need it. The speed of 8G which distorted space combined with precog good enough to trace lightning in 1/1000th of a second and Itachi's Shunshin? Forget it.
