How come Kaguya didn't use Mugen Tsukuyomi after separating Sasuke from the whole Team?

Black Zetsu said himself he recorded everything that happened and fused with Kaguya, she should have known that the only counter was not there.

Is a moon required to use MT? Since I couldn't see any moon when they fought in the ice Dimension.

Exactly what I was going to say, you can only use it once. There's only one moon and it's being used right now.
But you don't need a moon. o.o
The moon was only needed to cast it on the entire world at once (what isn't logical either because only half of the world can see the moon). Kaguya used it in the past and created the first Zetsus before there was any moon.

Well, maybe a more downgraded version of MT could be used such as Itachi's version. I don't know if you need a Moon to perform MT but i think it has to do with scale, how much people you want to cast the jutsu upon.

So how is the light suppose to reach all around the planet? Kishi clearly didn't account for basic astronomy.

They usually don't. On the other hand light isn't matter, as photons don't have mass. Thus the light of IT could shine on the whole world, it depends on the Earth's tilt in it's axis as we both know but It's manga, if anything the light was probably a special properties that shined through the entire earth after all if you shined a flash light on a small ball depending on the ball's tilt the light would hit all areasm except the bottom. In fairness no human lives in antartica i.e. "bottom of the world". You can explain it that way
