Ms. Sharingan...

I was wondering if only the males in the Uchiha clan could obtain the sharingan. I havent seen any females with it that i know of. I might have missed something while looking but does anyone have a clue.

I believe there was a panel in the manga where an Uchiha woman was shown with Sharingan unlocked but I'm not certain where. Anyway, there is no reason to believe that only the men could unlock the Sharingan. One needs to go through an emotional event to unlock the Sharingan, so it's not like only men could go through emotional events.

Fact of the matter is that not many Uchiha women were shown. The story focuses on a couple of the Uchiha men mostly, so it's natural that there is no focus on Uchiha women - especially not considering practically everyone of the clan is dead

No, they were all males, they are shown in the Third Databook.

Till now, there has been no female from the Uchiha Clan with a Sharingan.
