dealing with jiraiya was not easy at all for pain
jiraiya actually won , since jiraiya's goal was to send the village info on him even if it costs him his life
and he was successful and that info cost nagato his life
so jiriaya won a battle when the info was sent
pain won a battle when he killed jiraiya
jiraiya won the war when his info killed pain later
