It all depends on who can strike first. Sasukes only hope is to keep Susanoo on forever ( which he can't do and constantly releases it in battles) and Gais only hope is to land Day Time Tiger (which he only has one shot before his body gets all cramped) so it really all comes down to who is faster and I think Gai takes it 55% of the time. When he releases Susanoo he will fall prey to Day Time Tiger and its too fast for him to dodge.

Gai gets raped. He's only irrelevant because of 8th gate when that's restricted it's like Kakashi without Kamui.

Seventh gate guy is faster than Ay. He was pushing back juubi Jin madara while ay with onoki making him lighter could barely do anything to edo madara. It's clear guy is faster.

I think Guy's daytime tiger can take his susanoo. Whether sasuke actually receives damage is another thing. Sasuke can coat his susanoo with enton so any direct physical attack will hurt guy more. He will be forced to look at sasuke's feet because of any genjutsu trap. With this Guy will find it hard to evade amaterasu if he can't see it being spammed.
His movements are fast enough to evade eye contact and amaterasu though even if he can't see it so it will come down to who can outlast the other. I see this going either way, maybe slightly in guy's favour.

Based on his speed and reaction feats against Juubi jin madara, someone who should logically be way faster than Max Ei, 7th gated gai should at least be as fast and reflexive as Ei.
His afternoon tiger was capable of destroying edo Madara's V3 susanoo and MS Sasuke can't really hold a V4 susanoo for a very long time. Gai does the same thing max Ei did: shunshins out of LoS and blasts Sasuke's Susanoo from behind. Only this time Gaara isn't there to save Sasuke and Gai isn't in danger of getting enton'd.
