People wank Gaara to oblivion by using his P1 feats against Kimimaro when feats of that magnitude are no longer considered impressive in Part 2 which is why Gaara's P2 Feats seem pitiful in comparison if you choose to maintain a superficial view over the manga. People simply ignore context and disregard the fact that Kishimoto's scaling have changed significantly overtime and the fact what Kishimoto conceived as impressive in Part 1 is no longer impressive in Part 2 which is why Gaara's feats seem horrible in Part 2 when it's because the magnitude of Gaara's techniques in Part 1 isn't that extraordinary in Part 2 to begin with.

It wouldn't be smart to assume Gara wouldn't be able to create more sand in Shippuden than in Part 1. It's just common sense.

This is you distorting the purpose of my post. My entire point was that what Kishimoto conceived in Part 1 for Gaara isn't impressive by Part 2 standards which is why after he improved significantly over the course of three years, his performances weren't as stunning as they were in Part 1.
