I always figured that chibakui tensei would be the issue, but in terms of which happens first.

Would pein ever get around to CT?

But besides overall strategy, is ms Sasuke's power range above Pein or the other way around?

CT is rather easy to cast. You just need to clap your hands together so I dont see how Sasuke can stop Pain from using it. And also MS Sasuke doesn't have any offensive Jutsu to take out CT...he would need a Jutsu that is equal to RasenShuriken+Bijuu Dama+Yasaka Magatama to break it

Pain can't beat kcm naruto without the Gedo mazou though.

With Intel, Amaterasu can be used on the body, killing it by taking advantage of the cool down period. It is in no way faster than Amaterasu. Intel matters a lot here.

Pain could fly up in the air and use a village busting Shinra Tensei to destroy Sasuke

Like in the mist of all six bodies fighting, Sasuke takes out deva and hell path first.

Amaterasu converges on the target. You think Deva will survive long enough for PP to run to him and suck it out? ST and BT have cool down windows. Which is why I mentioned it. One takes it off, the second kills him outright.

CT cannot be used on a whim. Nagato has to be close to Deva to even use it.

Or Deva Could pull Sasuke towards him while another Path bashes a Black Rod in him and no way Sasuke can land a sneek attack because of Pains shared Vision

Also how does Pain not absolutely destroy MS Sasuke? Deva Path can rip him out of Susano'o and into the hands of Preta or Human. Or a Chakra Rod. Seems like a pretty easy win to me.

On topic: naruto made this statment to the toad elders about needing kcm to beat pein.

So in this scenario I'm pairing up Sasuke and pein with those disadvantages set to see why naruto would put Sasuke over pein.

Because pein started of handicapped, so I'm approaching this in naruto's point of view.
