Unless it's bloodlusted, Itachi will definitely not start off with an Amaterasu right off the bat, and with manga intel, Naruto would be sure to create multiple clones so Itachi can't just Amaterasu any of them, or else he'll deplete his reserves.

]. All examples of Itachi fighting are against his actual will, he never intended to harm anyone. If he was really going for kill, as Obito said, Sasuke and him would've never had that conversation.

If he really was to use Amaterasu on every one he countered, this manga would've finished long time ago, with the death of many, many shinobi, including Naruto.

And Itachi always starts Genjutsu off the bat, no matter what.

Who's to say that Itachi won't use Amaterasu while he's forming clones or use Ephemeral and end it then with Amaterasu? Keep in mind that Naruto has no counter for nearly any jutsu from Itachi in that state. All he'd be able to do is run, run and run.​

And again, this fight is really all about if Itachi's amaterasu and totsuka can pierce madara's susanoo

As I posted in this thread 2 months ago, Itachi seals Madara and his Susano'o since it was stated that the Totsuka Blade could pierce through anything that was physical except for the Yata Mirror since they're both spiritual items.
